CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

Dear members of the UK-MENA Network; 

Academic and intellectual engagement with the region is an important part of connecting young professionals and university students in the UK with the MENA region.  Therefore, the committee has decided to provide our members with the opportunity to publish short essays and opinion pieces on the Middle East and North Africa. Accordingly, we will be accepting submissions from our members to be published on our website, on a rolling basis. Please do not hesitate to send your work, as we encourage submissions on a wide range of topics. 

Instructions:

  • We are open to short essays and opinion pieces on any topic and approach relating to the MENA region, e.g. history, contemporary politics, diplomacy, economy, culture, theology, environment and anthropology.

  • The word limit is 800, double-spaced on Word format.  

  • Please add a short biography to the same file, as well as your email to be published alongside your work should you so wish.
