Connecting the UK with the Middle East and North Africa

The UK-MENA Network is an organisation connecting young professionals and university students in the UK with the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, led by a dedicated committee of young scholars and professionals with ties to the region. Our network offers curated trips, engaging events, networking opportunities and cultural enrichment, fostering cross-cultural understanding, supporting professional growth, and strengthening ties between the UK and MENA countries.

About
the Network

The Network was founded in 2024 by the presidents and founders of foreign policy and diplomatic societies at the UK’s leading universities, with the goal of continuing the work of their university societies in an environment that was not exclusive to university students.

Who we are

With the generous patronage of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain and support from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Jordan, the Network has since been able to provide an ever-growing variety of opportunities exclusive to our members.

The Network’s mission is one of mutual benefit. Not only do our events and trips seek to enrich the lives of students and young professionals interested in the region through professional, academic, cultural and philanthropic opportunities, but they also allow the organisations we collaborate with in the region to represent the best their country has to offer to our members, and have access to talented young professionals and students from the UK’s leading universities.
